Original large-format 1842 blueback nautical chart of the Southeast coast between Bogue Inlet, North Carolina and St. Augustine, Florida, published by E. There are shoreline details, soundings in fathoms, bottom conditions, and two compass roses. The map labels the westerly limits of the Gulf Stream, and North is oriented to the right. Lighthouses are delineated with red spots.
