Title / Subject:'Circuli Brunnensis Pars Meridionalis. Size: The printed area measures approximately 595mm x 470mm with very small margins beyond (trimmed at or close to the platemark); blank verso. Description: An attractive early 18th century, copper-plate engraved map of the southern part of Moravia (in the modern day Czech Republic). The map is centred around Brno and includes significant detail of place names and topography. It has a very decorative Key at the bottom of the sheet.
Cartographer / Engraver: Johann Baptist Homann. Trimmed at or close to the platemark. Light age toning, Centrefold as published. Please study all the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
